It shows strong resistance to mildew and handles heat, drought, and humidity more effectively than many other varieties. The vine climbs easily with minimal support, making it ideal for fences, lampposts, arbors, or trellises. In regions with mild winters, it remains evergreen. Grows well in typical, well‑drained garden soils with minimal effort. During the first growing season, water thoroughly and consistently to help develop a strong, extensive root system. After the plant is established, watering can be reduced, as it tolerates brief periods of dry conditions. Apply fertilizer in spring to support healthy growth.
