Allium ‘Millenium’
Description
Our best selling perennial. Tolerates most soil conditions and drought, while also being avoided by deer and rabbits. Features purple, globe shaped flowers in late summer that are sure to be covered with pollinators. If self-sowing is not wanted, dead-head after flowering. Although it is a true bulb, ‘Millenium’ forms a clump that can be divided in the spring or fall. It will produce a fragrant oniony smell when cut, however it is considered an ornamental onion and not recommended for culinary uses. 2018 Perennial of the Year.
