Description
Cottonwoods are fast-growing, tough native trees that are extremely adaptable to a range of soils, though they can develop chlorosis in highly alkaline soils. They grow to be massive trees with beautiful silhouettes and bright yellow fall color. They are the State Tree of Nebraska.Siouxland is a male selection that doesn’t produce cottony seeds.
