PP #22,457This brilliant new sedum truly lives up to its name, blooming earlier than most varieties. It produces exceptionally large, vivid raspberry-colored flower clusters that can reach up to nine inches in diameter. The disease-resistant foliage maintains its striking smoky blue-gray color from spring through fall. Plants spread gradually to form colorful, well-defined clumps and remain evergreen in regions with mild winters. Thrives in average to lean, well‑drained soils. In very hot summer climates, plants perform best with some light shade. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong, extensive root system, then reduce watering once plants are established.
