Cercis canadensis ‘Appalachian Red’
Redbuds are small, spreading, flat-topped trees with graceful branching. Appalachian Red has deep red purple buds that open neon pink in early spring, lasting for 2-3 weeks. Small seed pods form in October with golden foliage color. They’re adaptable to a range of soils, but are faster growing with ample moisture.
