Description
Zelkovas became a popular replacement for Elms after Dutch Elm Disease decimated the population. They have similar foliage and vase shape to Elms, with good performance even in alkaline soils, pollution, wind, and drought. They are slow to moderate growers, with bright yellow to copper fall color and patchy exfoliating bark.Green Vase has more narrow, upright growth than other cultivars and grows a little faster in its youth.For reference only:
