A staple in tropical gardens and arboretums, the paperplant boasts large, deeply lobed, leathery leaves that can measure up to 12″ wide when fully mature. Sometimes called Japanese aralia, this is a great plant for a large space needing filled – it may reach a height and width of 6 feet when grown in ideal conditions. Low to medium light is ideal and it water when the soil starts to dry out.
