Berries persist from early fall to the beginning of winter. The Purple Pearls cultivar features dark purple foliage and a heavy fruit set. This larger variety also grows upright keeping it under 5’ wide. They prefer average, well-drained soil and can tolerate some shade. Best fruit set is in full sun.
