If you are working on a specific small area or wish to design your own landscape, stop by either of our Garden Centers and pick up one of our landscape kits, free of charge.
Follow the simple directions in measuring, developing a simple scale drawing and answering the questionnaire. For a relatively simple project, our Garden Center personnel will be able to help you when you return the kit. If your problem is more complex, you will need to leave the completed kit so that a more detailed drawing can be made. You may choose to take the plant material home with you or schedule a time to have one of our professional crews install the work. Either way, trees, shrubs, evergreens and vines are 100% guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. Perennials, groundcovers and hybrid roses carry a 60 day warranty.
Projects that usually fall into this option cost from $100.00 to $500.00.
This option provides for one of our trained landscape designers to meet you at your home and, after analyzing the site and discussing your desires, develop a scaled landscape sketch offering solutions for the problem area. The fee for this option is $75.00 and is payable to the designer when they visit your property. Once $500.00 in plant material has been purchased, the design fee is rebated. Work to be completed may include plant removal, labor or new plants and their installation. You may wish to purchase the plants and complete the installation yourself or have one of our professional crews assist you with the planting. Either way, trees, shrubs, evergreens and vines are 100% guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. Perennials, groundcovers and hybrid roses carry a 60 day warranty. Usually projects in this option cost between $500.00 to $2500.00.
If you are building a new home or undertaking an extensive renovation of a property, this option will fit your needs. The designer will meet you at the site to analyze the site, discuss your desires and wishes, measure and photograph the property. Then they will return to the design studio to complete the plan and make recommendations for your property. Often these plans include new patios, decks, walls, walks, and pool areas as well as plant material locations. The designer will develop a recommended budget and will guide you in completing the project all at one time or in a phased approach.
There is a fee of $150.00 for this service ($200.00 to $500.00 on acreages and commercial projects) which is rebateable once $1000.00 has been spent on the project with the nursery. We are known for our ability to creatively solve your landscaping problems and pride ourselves on having the best designers to assist you.

Often people will move into an existing home and need assistance just analyzing and identifying existing plant materials, how to care for them, and in what manner to go about cleaning up the property. Other needs may include insurance appraisals, yard tours, drainage, and general site evaluations.
We are more than happy to assist you in any of these areas. The hourly charge will vary by the degree of assistance required and the experience of the designer. Fees generally run from $50.00 to $100.00 per hour.
